Taking the present scenario and situation of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in India into consideration, Kolkata WordCamp organizing team has decided to postpone its schedule WordCamp which was supposed to take place on March 22, 2020.
While we regret that we will not see you in Kolkata this month, we do hope you understand that the organising team is standing by this decision to ensure the safety of all WordCamp attendees.
We are only postponing the event for some time and letting the situation and threat to settle down and NOT canceling or calling it off! We have already started looking for a new date to organize the WordCamp as soon as possible.
We are extremely thankful to our sponsors who are still giving us full support and standing by us in this difficult situation.
We also want to let our attendees know that your WordCamp tickets will stay valid and everybody will have the same access in newly scheduled WordCamp. So, please keep your tickets saved!
We haven’t been thought about any kind of online event yet but it is under discussion. If we are able to arrange it, we will update you.
Finally, we pray that all Cornovirus infected people across the globe get well soon and the world gets better control over this turmoil situation.
