WordCamps are informal, volunteer-organized events to bring together the WordPress users, enthusiasts & lovers from all around. It can be the perfect place to learn, connect and actively contribute to the community. We are proud to announce that WordCamp Kolkata is the embodiment of all that & more!<\/p>\r\n

Get to know the Kolkata WordCamp community<\/h4>\r\n

The Kolkata WordPress Community is known for being one of the warmest, most interactive and active teams around the country, India. Present from an early time, the community started gaining momentum in 2017 through baby steps and got its official status in 2018.<\/p>\r\n

Today, the community officially holds hundreds of super fun, friendly and enthusiastic members, a number of quality meetups and one very successful WordCamp under their belt. And now, the community is hosting its second WordCamp soon.<\/p>\r\n

Quick recap of WordCamp Kolkata 2019<\/h4>\r\n

Back in 2019, the Kolkata WordPress Community hosted its first chapter of WordCamps in an exciting, knowledge-sharing and informative one-day event. The conference took place on Sunday 3rd March 2019 at Biswa Bangla Convention Center, Kolkata.<\/p>\r\n

And what a success it was! With high energy in the air, an awesome ensemble of Speaker Sessions from inspiring industry experts, and LOTS OF FUN, WordCamp Kolkata 2019 truly was a memorable event.<\/p>\r\n\r\n \r\n

After a long break during the Global Pandemic, this year, at WordCamp Kolkata 2022, we are very excited to bring you a happening event where the whole community can have a blast while getting to know WordPress better. Focusing on the true essence of the Kolkata WordPress Community, we promise to make this event warm, welcoming, safe, engaging and resourceful for all WordPress lovers. <\/p>\r\n

You\u2019ll find everything at this most-awaited WordPress conference – quality and content-rich speaker sessions, hands-on workshops, games, giveaways, outstanding networking opportunities, cool WordPress goodies & swags, and much more. You will also be able to join the Kolkata WordPress community in a special, energetic Contributor Day (the day before the main event) and give back to the open-source software platform.<\/p>\r\n

And of course, you will find the most fun people who are always ready to party, the warmest ambience of the City of Joy, Kolkata, mouth watering delicacies – rasgullas, mishti doi, and puchkas – and so much more!\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n
